The inaugural “Trucking Job Fair at Pocono Raceway Driven by Pennsylvania Turnpike” will be held on Saturday, July 28. All applicants attending the job fair will receive a $10 lunch voucher and two complimentary Saturday General Admission Grandstand tickets, courtesy of the Pennsylvania Turnpike. On-track events taking place that day will include the Gander Outdoors 150 NASCAR Camping World Truck Series (NCWTS) race and Gander Outdoors 400 Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series (MENCS) qualifying.
The trucking job fair will take place inside Pocono Raceway’s Chalet Village, located behind the Grandstand and near the main gates, from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. ET. Job seeking applications will be required to show their Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) before entering the gates and can bring one additional guest. Their guest is not required to have a CDL. Admission to the job fair and parking is free. Individuals driving a tractor trailer to this event, and during all NASCAR or INDYCAR weekend events, will be directed to the new Drydene Tractor Trailer Parking Lot. Several of the trucking companies attending include J.P. Mascaro & Sons, Penske Logistics, Foley/CAT, Venezia Transport and YCR Logistics, among others.
“The creation of the trucking job fair was a collaborative effort between the Pennsylvania Turnpike and the Pocono Raceway Partnership team,” said Pocono Raceway President, Ben May. “We are excited to have the opportunity to be a conduit between carries and CDL drivers during a period when transport logistics are growing exponentially.”

The Gander Outdoors 400 race weekend, taking place July 27-29, will include three, action-packed days of racing. The (NCWTS) and ARCA Racing Series presented by Menards (ARCA) will be on track on Friday, including the ModSpace 150 ARCA race, prior to Fan Fest. Saturday’s schedule will include two MENCS practices, NCWTS series qualifying, the Gander Outdoors 150 NCWTS race and MENCS qualifying. The Gander Outdoors 400 MENCS race is scheduled to start at 2:30 p.m. ET on Sunday.
