The public is invited to the Pre-Season Celebration on Memorial Day weekend. The celebration starts Saturday, May 25, 2019 and concludes on Monday, May 27, 2019. The event starts at 11:00 am and ends each day at 5:00 pm. No reservation needed. This is a fundraiser for Family Promise of Carbon County which provides services to homeless families within Carbon County. There will be crafts for the kids, live butterflies, frogs, door prizes, butterfly hatching kits, basket raffle , coloring contest with prizes, food on Sat. and Sun. and much more! The Butterfly Sanctuary’s regular season begins June 8, 2019.
