Here comes the sun! The 2018 Pocono Mountain Summer Concert Series at Faith Lutheran Church has officially begun. This season four free performances are offered. This past June 10 featured Songs from Memory Lane with Matt and Carol Frigm, The Ohio couple played their brand of soft rock, country and jazz in perfect harmony.
Blakeslee’s Faith Lutheran Church has hosted the Pocono Mountain Summer Concert Series, bringing free family-friendly entertainment to the community for the past 15 years.
This month’s concert at 7pm on July 22nd, will feature The Swing Time Dolls who take you on a sentimental journey back to the days of WWII, Glen Miller and The Andrews Sisters.
The August 5th, performance, also at 7pm, features the multi-award winning southern gospel trio, the Hyssongs, returning once more to bring family vocal harmony, humor and a touch of brass with a contemporary Christian sound.
The season closes on September 16th at 3pm. Get ready for Doo Whop with the home grown talent of James Forcella and Friends who never fail to delight their Pocono neighbors. Be sure to mark your calendars now for these not to be missed shows.
