This year, join us for a new holiday tradition – A White Christmas Cabaret, presented by KaraKen Productions. A quartet of brilliant vocalists – David Arzberger, Kristen Long, Ken McMullen, and Kara Snyder – bring one of the holiday’s most celebrated movies to life in an evening of song and dance. Accompanied by celebrated pianist, Scott Besser, this show is a perfect way for you and your family to embrace the season.
The professional quintet began as colleagues but now considers each other dear friends, and the love is obvious from song to scene. Bask in the rich, warm baritone of Veteran Broadway performer Ken McMullen. Enjoy the beautiful dueting of Sopranos and NEPTA award winners Kristen Long and Kara Snyder. Revel in the joyful choreography and character of David Arzberger. And delight in the precise and joyful piano arrangement and accompaniment by celebrated artist Scott Besser.
The evening includes some of the greatest songs ever written by Irving Berlin. Classics include “Blue Skies,” “How Deep is the Ocean,” “Count Your Blessings” and, of course, “White Christmas” which are all part of this 90-minute show, suitable for adults and young adults. The cabaret is a celebration of the hope and joy of the season inspired by the movie, the unforgettable music, and the crooners of the 1940s.
Costumes and lighting set the mood with dance numbers reminiscent of the period and a magical finale creating a winter wonderland of falling snow as the quartet performs the beloved title song.
