Award-Winning Circus Brings Spectacular, Family-Friendly Entertainment to Jim Thorpe’s Winterfest, Sat. & Sun. Feb. 14-15, at the Mauch Chunk Ballroom

Get ready to experience the impossible! The internationally acclaimed Cirque-tacular is bringing its breathtaking winter-themed spectacle, SHIMMER, to the Mauch Chunk Museum Ballroom for six thrilling performances during Winterfest, Saturday and Sunday, February 14-15 at 12:30, 2:30, and 4:30pm each day. Featuring world-class acrobatics, jaw-dropping feats, and an irresistible blend of charm and wonder, this award-winning company of acrobats and novelty entertainers promises to dazzle audiences of all ages. The Mauch Chunk Ballroom is at 41 West Broadway in Jim Thorpe.
Performances of SHIMMER offer attendees a 45 minute indoor activity perfect for visitors looking for a break from the cold. Upstairs, in the lofty ballroom of the historic museum, guests can warm up with hot chocolate and popcorn as they experience this snow and ice themed circus. A selection of multi-talented entertainers from the larger touring show comprise the cast, and provide an action packed, high energy addition to the other Winterfest activities in town.
Honored with the New York Parents’ Choice Award for Best Family Entertainment, Casino Show of the Year, and having been seen in all 50 states, Cirque-tacular carries forward the grand tradition of American circus—celebrating joy, togetherness, and the thrill of live performance.
