THE ZOO HEALTH CLUB is a commercial health club with state of the art equipment including cardio equipment, circuit machines, strength training equipment including racks, benches, free weights, and cables. They offer supervised child care, unlimited tanning, personal training, and group fitness classes for all levels. They are a 24/7 facility located in The Carbon Plaza Mall.
When asked about how well their new health club has been received by the community and what’s new on the horizon, Gwen Remaley of The Zoo Health Club says, “Since we have taken over, the reception by the community has been great! There are so many people, who are interested in bettering their health and come to us with questions about where to get started. As a convenience to our current and future members, we converted to a 24/7 facility on January 1st of this year, so that we can be open around the clock. We still do have extended staff hours where people can stop in to check us out or sign up for a membership. And, we are really excited about opening our new smoothie bar soon, so that members AND non-members can come in and enjoy a refreshing and healthy drink.”
