As their business grew, they opened an office in Walnutport and became Hoffman Accounting d.b.a. Lehigh Gap Tax Services. Becky grew up in her family’s sawmill business and naturally gravitated towards accounts receivable, payroll, and financial statements. Eventually, after raising five children, she went to college, earned her degree and worked in various accounting industries and tax services.
Michael, who has three children of his own, retired from the U.S. Navy with 26 years of service. He still holds a job with a major tech company, in addition to running their Lehigh Gap Tax business. Although Becky brought in technical expertise and training, Michael was a quick learner and caught up quickly.
Unlike some of the big, more corporate tax return businesses, Mike and Becky are generous with their time and strive to work with each client carefully and patiently. Becky especially likes working with small businesses like the one her family owned when she was growing up.
They are client focused and draw customers from near and far. They also work very well with seniors who may be in need of a little more guidance.
