Annual Fall Festival Features Vibrant Colors, Free Music, Art, Vendors, Shopping, Food and Fun
You’ll find as many things to do in Jim Thorpe this month as there will be leaves in the wind. Jim Thorpe’s annual Fall Foliage Festival showcases the town in all of Mother Nature’s splendor. This year’s celebration will be held October 2-3, 9-10, 16-27 and 23-24.
Nestled in the breathtaking Lehigh Gorge, the town’s unique setting makes it one of the best spots in the country to view the Technicolor landscape from a variety of vantage points.
MUSIC
Our free, outdoor, concert series will be held during the festival at five different stages spread throughout our beautiful downtown. These music performers range from Jim Thorpe locals to regional names and favorites. A full list of performers will be announced soon.
Entertainment hours are 11am to 5pm. AND, we’ve added a special musical bonus at “The Gazebo” in Josiah White Park on October 30th & 31st.

You’ll find a multitude of cool and unique offerings, museums, and delicious cuisine all the way from the historic district to West Broadway “Upper Chunk” to the east side of town.

Train rides and bicycle tours run 7 days a week in October. Our NEW Jim Thorpe Trolley operates Friday through Sunday. There are a variety of other activities in our area for individuals, couples, groups and families to do. Check out our Facebook page for all of our member details.
PARKING
Parking will be available at the following locations:
Carbon County Municipal Lot – 1 Susquehanna Street, Jim Thorpe – Paid parking, use kiosk
Street – Available on Susquehanna, Broadway, & West Broadway – Paid parking, use kiosk
Immaculate Conception Church – 178 West Broadway, Jim Thorpe – Paid parking
Sam Miller Field – 122 North Avenue, Jim Thorpe – Paid parking, shuttle to historic district is included in your parking fee
Jim Thorpe Memorial Hall – 101 East 10th Street, Jim Thorpe – Parking is free if you choose to walk to the downtown area (approximately 1.5 miles away). If you opt for a shuttle, hourly trolley service is available to the historic district BUT you must purchase tickets for the trolley service from The Jim Thorpe Trolley Co.

The Jim Thorpe Police Department would like to make your fall visits to Jim Thorpe fun, safe, and enjoyable. During your visit, we ask that you follow a few simple rules.
• Please be patient and expect traffic delays
• Cross the roadways at the designated crosswalks and always wait for pedestrian signals or direction from personnel directing pedestrian traffic before crossing
• Park only in areas where parking is permitted (see parking information above)
• Use trash receptacles to discard your trash
