Ouros held their public grand opening celebration this past Friday, April 1st at their Jim Thorpe locale at 70 Broadway. The celebration introduced their vision for premium late-night food and drink to fans of downtown Jim Thorpe.
The special night at Ouros took place on the first floor “Sun Room” a combined bar and dining area that captures an idealized Golden-era aesthetic with a host of secrets and symbolism for guests to discover.
The menu showcased a variety of comfort food including slow cooked pulled-pork sliders, grilled Mahi-mahi dressed in summer fruit salsa, and vegan black bean & cauliflower chimichanga. The menu also featured a rotating selection of classic American cocktails with a playful twist including the Limoncello Vesper, Spicy Cadillac, and the Dark & Stormy.
Throughout the night, select samples from the menu were handed out for guests to experience a further tasting of their late-night fare.
The evening closed with a toast to thank the staff, those who have helped during renovation, and members of the public in attendance for their support throughout the journey of launching Ouros.
