The Lehighton Area Lioness Lions Club will be hosting an Open House on Thursday, July 25th at the Chapel Field Pavilion at Normal Square in Lehighton, PA. At this event you community members will have a chance to learn about the activities of Lions Clubs International and of the Lehighton Club in particular. There will also be an opportunity to chat with the Club’s current members and ask questions about community service through Lions Clubs. It is not necessary to reside in Lehighton to become a member of this dynamic organization.
The Open House will begin at 6:00 p.m. Attendees are welcome to bring a family member or friend. There will be food, beverages and a free chance to win a raffle item. The club requests the courtesy of an RSVP by July 18th so that members may adequately prepare. Please call 610.704.7122 to RSVP.
According to club president, Alicia Shutack-Silliman, the Lehighton Area Lioness Lions Club, a club rich in a tradition and history, dedicates itself to providing its members with opportunities for personal enrichment through community service. The Lehighton Area Lioness Lions pledge that 100% of charitable funds raised will be used to support individuals and organizations locally and worldwide to achieve the goals of improved eye health, diabetes, infectious illnesses, food security and other worthy goals.
The club looks forward to seeing how other community members and leaders can join in the efforts to make an impact on the lives of others.
