The resort’s tubing park, with three tubing lanes that are groomed daily, also makes for a memorable snow day. Beginning in late December, the resort offers snow tubing on winter weekends and holidays, treating guests to 500-foot chutes and a hassle-free Magic Carpet Lift for a relaxed ride up the mountain.

3. Shawnee Mountain Ski Area

A crowd-pleasing spot for winter-lovers of all ages, Shawnee Mountain Ski Area treats on the slopes. Families will also have a blast at the resort’s Pocono Plunge Snow Tubing Park.
