As we prepare for a brand-new chapter, the Board of Directors has some bittersweet but incredibly exciting news to share with our community.

Kara has served faithfully as our Librarian, transforming our spaces with vibrant children’s programming, beautiful art displays, reading groups, and essential technology upgrades. Please join us in thanking Kara for her dedicated service and wishing her the absolute best as she ventures into her next chapter!

Welcome Victoria Ryan-Price, Library Director! Victoria comes to us with a Master of Library Science and an exceptional background in library management. Having previously served as a Library Director and most recently as Head of Technical Services at the Scranton Public Library, she brings a wealth of expertise in community programming, grants, and operational excellence. We are delighted to welcome her back to the Director’s seat!
Congratulations to Megan Thornborrow, Assistant Director! A familiar and beloved face at our libraries, Megan is being promoted to our newly created Assistant Director position! Currently pursuing her degree at Widener University, Megan’s incredible energy, passion for programming, and daily dedication to our patrons make her the perfect leader to step into this new role.
With Victoria and Megan at the helm, our two branches are positioned for a bright, innovative, and stable future.
