Hey Carbon County Business Owners and Organizations!
Shop Small Saturday is on November 28th. The Carbon Chamber and Economic Development Corp, a proud partnership of the kiyaj@lehighvalleychamber.org are teaming up to support Small Business Saturday at businesses throughout our region!
What we need from you:
• Once available, sign your business up for Shop Small Saturday at www.americanexpress.com/us/small-business/shop-small ! This is absolutely FREE and they will send you a Shop Small kit, complete with swag, canvas totes to hand out, and more!
• We understand that as a small business, it’s tough to compete with Black Friday deals. Consider offering an incentive to bring customers through the door and to encourage our town to support local business and shop small. Whether it’s a discount, BOGO, or free gift, customers will appreciate the offer and return the appreciation by shopping with you. The Carbon Chamber and Economic Development Corp will be creating a Coupon Sheet and distributing them to each participating business – tell us your deal and we’ll design this sheet for you to distribute!
• We strongly encourage you to host an activity or provide light refreshments to draw people in to your shop. Keep in mind that people value experiences and creating memories!
• If your business can not participate in a deal, consider being a sponsor to support our business community and to help with the marketing.
• We are asking for $10 from each business or organization that wants to participate to cover printing and marketing costs. This is open to both Chamber Members and Future Chamber Members!
What’s in it for you?
• Your business will be placed on our sheet listing your special deal.
• Your business will be promoted through our e-newsletter, social media pages, and signage.
• You will likely receive some Shop Small swag as we will likely have extras!
• We will be able to show visitors along with the community all that Carbon County has to offer as we kickoff the holiday season.

If you will be hosting an activity, snacks or special, please let us know! We’ll promote this information on Social Media! We need your special by Monday, November 16th so that we have ample time to print and drop off these coupon sheets to your business!
